This is about Atsumu growing into love and Sakusa being there to meet him

Sixteen treats Miya Atsumu like a bitch. His hair is just the wrong shade of mustard. His skills are just rusty enough to drive him crazy. Osamu is just stupid enough to announce he’s gonna stop volleyball after high school. His bed is too short for his now six-foot tall frame. His appetite is enormous. His love for volleyball is infinite. His thirst, the need to be something, anything, is unquenchable. Somewhere along the way, he went from a skinny little kid with fuel to burn, to a lanky teenager whose eye bags never seemed to fade, whose spark never seems to dim.

    Summary

Atsumu Miya is used to being the loud and abrasive exception to the rule. As an Omega who feels he lacks the soft charm the world expects, he has long accepted the idea that he is simply not built to be loved. He is a vital player on the court but an afterthought once the lights go out.

When his birthday arrives during a high-stakes training week, the silence from his team only confirms his deepest fears of being second best. However, a late night encounter with the team’s most stoic Alpha changes everything. Between a ridiculous party hat and a lopsided homemade cake, Atsumu is forced to confront the possibility that he has been looking at love all wrong.
