Me [25M] with my roommate of 1 year [24M], I’m worried I might be homophobic towards him?

    Posted by u/redbullracing33 · December 10th 2025

TL;DR: My roommate is gay. I’m straight, and I thought I was totally fine with it, but I’ve realised I feel shitty when I see him with other guys, and it’s starting to mess with our friendship. How do I handle this and stop acting like a dick?

Or: Max is a dumbass who can’t stop obsessing over his roommate’s hookups… But why?

📌 blue echoes — the post-listen breakdown (i am not fine)

    okay. so.

i’ve just finished my third full listen of blue echoes and i’m currently lying face down on my carpet in complete silence. if anyone would like to come peel me off the floor, you are welcome to try, but i make no promises. this album is not just an album, it’s a dissection. it’s a reckoning. it’s charles leclerc cracking open his ribcage and handing us his heart in sixteen pieces.

and it’s about him. it’s so obviously about him.

below the cut: my full track-by-track meltdown

    Daniel suddenly burst out laughing.

    “Mate! You won’t believe this!”

“What?” Max hesitated, not sure where this was going.

“Look at P2.” Daniel’s glee was very evident in his voice, obviously not bothered by the fact he had spun out laps ago.

“I’m looking at P2.” Max snapped.

“No, look at the name.” Carlos added, also sounding very entertained.

Max finally glanced properly at the timing tower.
