Summary
One rumor seems to tear the Greasers apart, and not just them, but the Preps too.
Christy tells the story of her encounter with Larry, or "Peanut", that got awkward when he called her his favorite person's name. Hearing this, Lola believes Johnny cheated on her with his best friend. Johnny, seeing how Larry loves him more than she does after catching her with Gord again, realizes he might have feelings for his best friend too— and if Lola is already convinced that he cheated, should he just do it?
Gord takes on socially humiliating Johnny over the rumor, vandalizing the auto shop. He is confronted by Vance whom he seduces him to avoid consequences. However, his reluctant accomplice, Parker, wished he could have finally faced a consequence for what he had coming as a bully and awful friend— an awful friend he has no idea why he thinks about so much or keeps around. Gord decides Parker is a traitor, and Parker ends up with Gord tightening an Aquaberry tie around his neck, wondering if it’s over— but it’s far from over...
