“You didn’t let me finish, old friend!” Hermes exclaimed, “I want to be dominated, humiliated and put in my place while under the influence of a very particular concoction. A philtre that leaves one infused with uncontrollable arousal and also has a marked effect on gods and goddesses - it brings them to a weakened state where they are made no stronger than a mortal.”

Following the end of Odysseus's journey back to his kingdom of Ithaca, he feels indebted to Hermes for the help his old friend provided, so he takes matters into his own hands to help fulfil a fantasy the god divulged to him.

He's stressed, overworked by his demanding job as the divine messenger of the gods, and can barely find time to satisfy the sexual cravings that plague him.
He didn't think coming face to masked face with them again would cause some feelings to stir for one of them, in particular.
