Wemmbu scrolls through his phone, thumb hovering over the screen every now and then as he drags down his playlist. Half-focused—until a hand suddenly crosses the space between them and plucks one of the earbuds straight from his grip.
“Hey–” He blinks, affront already coloring his voice.
“You weren’t gonna offer,” Egg says simply, tone matter-of-fact. Like he’s pointing out the weather, then nestles the bud in his ear.
