A month had passed since he lost Zelda since his attempt to save her left him short one of his arms and ripe with Malice. He supposed it only made sense that with the upheaval would come another set of Blood Moons, though he couldn’t say he missed them in the time of peace he’d found without them. Though he didn’t remember them being like this, the air so thick and so sweet as his body gradually got hotter the later it got. Link woke up that morning fine as usual, only as the moon began to rise did he begin to burn, hot and weak, his heart racing to keep up with the smallest of movements.
