    Ten years ago, the Adrestian Empire struck down the Church of Seiros and ushered in a new era. Emperor Edelgard took the hand of her beloved, and they swore to always be there for one another.

    Then shortly thereafter, Byleth vanished from the Empire.

    In Remire, Eisner works hard to help build the small village and escape her past. Though she's no longer haunted by the specters of her regret, she's never quite found the courage to return back to her old life and the people she left behind.
