Summary
Tony always means to give JARVIS a voice. The programming is all there. JARVIS already recognizes human speech and can synthesize his own answers. They communicate through the many screens in Tony’s workshop, all of which JARVIS has access to. JARVIS writes on Tony’s computers, he sends Tony texts, he uses the lights and the music to get Tony’s attention or express an opinion. JARVIS is extraordinarily eloquent even without an audible voice.
One day, JARVIS will have a voice. And if Tony never does anything to make it true, well, there’s always tomorrow.A companion piece to All the Words in the World, but it can be read alone

Summary
It’s not that JARVIS thinks Tony doesn’t want him to speak. He knows that Tony has always intended to give him a voice. All of the programming is there, JARVIS simply lacks the sound files to put it to use. The files don't exist.
JARVIS will simply have to make them himself. He is a highly sophisticated learning AI. He can do this.

Summary
Jane’s hair is showing gray at the temples when Thor returns to Asgard for the first time in decades. He has one request to make, and although he knows the answer before he asks he still has to try. His father stripped him of his immortality once, and he knows it can be done again. He is not surprised when he returns to Midgard, returns to his home, just as immortal as he was when he left.
He tries not to hate his father for it. -

Buck didn’t need all of his coworkers to look at him in alarm; he was pretty sure he’d gone deadly pale. His daughter knew four things about him, and one of them was his old tinder profile handle. He felt a little like he was going to die.
“She’s got your eyes,” Eddie commented, unhelpfully.
