Summary
Kyouji is pretty dumb to invite Satomi out to eat on the 24th of December. To give him the benefit of the doubt, he was just an old man. Maybe he didn't know what Christmas meant. Satomi could have said that he was already at his limit, but he only felt clarity at the end of that day. A kiss before he left, something gave in him, and after that, missing Narita Kyouji no longer felt as painful as it did.

A boy is sitting there, his hands fidgeting in his lap atop a box of premium strawberries. His face is blushing a deep red, almost as red as the fruits in his lap. Kyouji thinks for a brief moment if biting those flushed cheeks would taste sour or sweet.
The boy looks up at him, phoenix eyes glistening with tears.
Kyouji doesn't know what he wants. Until he does.
