Summary
“Well, what did you think?” Wednesday asked dryly, returning her bow to her cello case.
“What?”
“Did you enjoy my choice of song? Debussy. It's the only thing I've ever heard you play that doesn't make me want to forcibly remove the auditory processing center of my brain. Besides, it seems appropriate for a night like this..." She nodded up at the moon. Enid looked taken aback.
“It…it was beautiful…” she softly responded, wiping her tears away with the sleeve of her sweater.
It's the night of a full moon. Wednesday is alone in Ophelia Hall, diligently working on her novel, when the howling starts. It's nothing more than a mild annoyance until Enid bursts in, clearly upset, and Wednesday decides she should probably do something to distract her from feeling left out. Besides, she might as well practice her cello for the evening. And with the night sky in mind, her choice of music is obvious.

Summary
“We’ll this one is going to be better...It’s gonna be a masquerade! That’s right up your dark alley.”
“Is there a plague I’m unaware of?...Though I must applaud the event committee for finding an on theme Poe reference for once.”
“No,” Enid crossed her arms over her chest, “And I’ll have you know, the masquerade was my idea.”
Enid felt a small surge of pride at the fact that out of all the suggestions made to celebrate the spring equinox, it was hers that they chose. Hard on the heels of the pride came relief and shame in equal measures.- Language:
