Finger on the trigger. Caitlyn had done this many times. The first time, her hands were trembling, her legs felt wobbly, and she thought she might throw up because death was never something she enjoyed getting involved with. But now she knows the rules. If she pulls away, Vi will most likely turn the weapon against her.

“Why is there a question mark in your sentence?”
“There isn’t.” Clark’s heart pounded so hard it felt like it had launched itself past the stars by now.
