Summary
The news came as a shock to all. Anyone with ears to hear within the Galactic Republic was distraught when the news came out about the Naboo king, Ruwee, and their Queen, Jobal. The tremendous loss the ruling family would have to endure after the Krythans attacked the second home in Bespin was incomprehensible; leaving behind two young daughters, Naleia and Padme Naberrie. After only months of political training for both the young women, their future is yet to be decided if either of them will be elected to councilship.
Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padawan Anakin Skywalker are days away from the release from their apprenticeship among the Jedi council. After years spent under the influence of others, it's fair to say that both the young men are itching to make an impact in the worlds around them, even if they are limited to only the neighboring planets among Coruscant. It isn’t until the breaking news of a newly-elected councilwoman in a distant land who is in desperate need of Jedi support and a breakout of Krythan soldiers among the outer rim that enacts the partners to separate in order to disband their efforts.
