After their show, Julie gives Sunset Curve a bracelet that she made to honor her mom and make it feel like she was still with her. She didn’t anticipate that the members of Sunset Curve, specifically their lead singer, would be taking the sentiment so literally. She especially didn’t anticipate him to make a video of all the times he wore the bracelet in hopes of reconnecting with her.

She looked into his eyes again and the concern in it almost stopped the words from coming out of her mouth. But it didn’t. Unfortunately.
“Yes,” she breathed out.
Flynn slapped a hand over her mouth at the response, and Julie’s eyes widened when she realized what she had said.

Luke is a patrol officer responding to a duress call in the building that Julie works in. The emergency call was an accident though–-her coworker accidentally pressed the button under the desk--and everyone, including the officers knew that. They were all just going through the motions of the protocol so they could continue working.
So then why did Julie tell the cute officer that she was in fact feeling something because of this “emergency” call?
