Summary

Personally, Lando always found motogp more exciting, but he gets what Alex means. Ollie had talked his ear off about last year’s title battle. How a safety car basically decided the title.
But other things as well. Engine failures. Rain. Contact. Track infringements.
All things that could decide a race. Could decide a championship.
“Fairs,” he says. “What’s got me here then? Is someone retiring or something?”
Alex looks at him, amused. “Oscar Piastri. That’s why you’re here.”
Lando racks his brain for any kind of familiarity associated with that name.
He scoffs.
“Who the fuck is Oscar Piastri?”
Lando's a new producer on Drive To Survive. Oscar is the new rookie who's rocked the paddock with one tweet. They’re a match made in reality TV heaven.
Well, if only Lando didn't have an annoying, persistent little crush on him. And Oscar wasn’t so damn confusing.

Summary

Unfortunately, none of them account for Lando Norris.
When Oscar's new roommate is assigned to him a month into the semester, he's loud, messy, impossibly confident, and a competitive racing driver for Princeton's elite athletics programme. Oscar has no interest in getting to know him, and Lando seems perfectly happy to annoy him anyway.

"Fuck," Oscar swears lowly, hands coming up to tangle in Lando's hair, to grab at his curls. "Lando."
Lando licks a long stripe over his collarbone, and Oscar's hands tighten as he pants out, "I, uh—don't want you to feel like you have to do this just 'cause you, like, feel sorry for me."
Lando leans back to gape at him. “Oscar, shut up."
“Look at me,” He says, gesturing vaguely at himself with a frustrated little laugh. “Do you actually think I’m doing this because I feel sorry for you?”
Oscar blinks up at him. Stupid, stupid Oscar Piastri. Does he need Lando to spell it out for him? To prove his point, he grinds down into Oscar's lap and watches greedily as his mouth falls open. “Shit—I really… I really fucking want this.”
