Effected heavily by the war that stole the lives of their people, as well as their mother, sibling Maren, Elian, and Kael were young and caught in their grief. Out of desperation, the trio committed the ultimate sin- human transmutation. This act being an atrocity against their God, Ishvala, has left them conflicted and riddled with guilt.
