A herd. A herd swept through while they were stuck in a traffic snarl, and that was all it took for Sophia to get separated from the rest of the group. Glenn didn’t even think about it before tearing off into the woods after her. He was one of the only members of this group that could kill the geeks silently, and if someone fired off a round right now, then the whole herd would turn around and tear through them like tissue paper.
It was just two geeks. He could handle that.
Surviving in the woods, however… Glenn had always been a city boy. He was thoroughly out of his element here. But Sophia needed him, and he wasn’t about to fail her. If Lee could protect a little girl with a bad leg and no clue what was going on, then Glenn could keep Sophia safe long enough for them to rejoin the others.
