“I do see you.”
“No,” the blonde shook his head, and his voice breaking— like cracked porcelain. “You see me when she doesn’t need you. You love me in the spaces she leaves behind.”
Jeongguk’s fingers curled, trembling ever so slightly as they tightened over Jimin’s knee— an unspoken apology etched into the warmth of the raven’s touch, as if he could will Jimin to feel the ache he carried too. “She’s my friend.”
“She’s your priority,” Jimin points out firmly, voice just above a whisper.
