What Deanna didn't know was that when Castiel touched her soul, he had been able to feel everything inside of it. He had felt her desire for something indescribable inside of her as if it were a tangible object he could grasp.
Her yearning had grown around everything else inside of her soul that it was almost indistinguishable from all the other marks her soul bore. Castiel could’ve done something about it when he reassembled her body, made it match that deep yearning that she had never dared to vocalize.
He hadn’t, though. That wasn’t part of his mission, and that was long before he had fallen. He had built Deanna’s body just as she had appeared before dying. A regret he hoped to rectify soon.

Dean’s not usually one to get greedy. Usually he just pushes it all down, the little things. He’s just not there yet. Things like getting slapped during sex and wearing women’s underwear and putting on fun costumes are just part of Dean’s mystical little fantasy world that don’t need to be brought to the light of day.
And the precarious answer to Cas’s implied question is, “This is about more than just sex. Even though the sex is a bonus.”
“It’s about… you…” Cas says it slowly, like he’s trying to let Dean fill in the blanks.

Castiel Novak knows a thing or two about faith healers and although Dean would normally never dream of dragging a civilian along on a case, he could really use Cas' expertise here. Besides, with Sammy off at Stanford and John barking orders at him from three states away, Dean is pretty fucking lonely. And Castiel, with his kind eyes and his uncanny ability to get under Dean's skin in all the best ways, fits into the Impala's passenger seat just right.
Until, of course, it all comes crashing down around them.
Now: It's been five years since Castiel last saw Dean, but when he gets a call in the middle of the night, he recognizes the voice on the other end of the line immediately. Dean is in trouble and he needs Castiel's help. And, well.
Castiel always comes when Dean calls.

Summary
Dean blamed the comfort of Sam’s snoring for how deeply he’d slept. Usually, he woke before Sam, a habit built up over years of making sure his brother got to school on time. But he was still luxuriating in their reunion, still adjusting to sleeping well with his brother just a few feet away again. So when he woke, Sam was already packed and leaving the bathroom with wet hair and a wave of humidity. Dean groaned and rolled onto his belly, half-hard from sleep. He drifted, half listening to his brother dressing, one hand shoved into his pants. He dozed off before he could get any action.
Shortly thereafter, he decided to start playing a game. He just had to see how long it would take Sam to catch up.
