Summary
Rui leans back against the sofa, unfolding her legs from beneath her, and she shocks herself with the groan of pain it beats from her. She’s usually pretty good at keeping any looks or sounds of pain locked inside. She likes to think she saves them up during the day, getting them out late at night through tears and bitten lips. So for one to slip out so uncontrollably - it surprises her so much she almost forgets how much pain she's in in the first place.

Rui hasn't told the others she has a chronic pain condition, but today, it's too much to bear.

Summary
Hyun had wanted to cry when he first met Haru.
Though he was as-yet unpresented, and a little older than most at that stage, it was pretty clear Haru would eventually present as an omega. Which made three. Three beautiful omegas in his new group that he wanted but could never have. And god, did he want them.
But it didn't matter. All three of them would eventually find some handsome alphas to fall head over heels with. Alphas who could take care of them the way they deserve, scenting their mating bites and quenching their heats with a knot. And Hyun would be left behind. And that would have to be okay.
Though he knew that day was coming, Hyun hadn't been prepared.
