Summary
Stephen could think of no one who deserved to be angry more than G’Kar. He wouldn’t have blamed G’Kar if he had decided to take his anger out on the station. He should be allowed. He should rip a hole through the hull with his bare hands and get everyone sucked out into space. He should scream and destroy and take his revenge, but instead he was sitting in a booth, his hand resting on the table, not touching or being touched by anything.
“Let’s go back to my room,” Stephen said abruptly.
G’Kar looked at him, his expression inscrutable. He downed the rest of his wine, licked his lips, and set the glass down neatly on the table. “Let’s go to mine. You never have the heat turned up high enough.”

Summary
“It is tradition on my world to give newborn Narns temporary names for the first ten years of their lives. The practice came out of the reality that life on Narn is very hard, and in the past many of us died quite young."
— G'Kar S05E01A year into his life on Narn, Stephen is still uncovering darknesses in the rebuilt world.

Summary
They walked past enormous paintings of Centauri noblemen in scenes of artful battle, surrounded by lavish falls of cloth, and fruit painted with such lusciousness as to be lewd, balanced against the lips of bald, nameless women depicted in wait behind the crested heroes. [...] The blacks were abyssal, the whites so brilliant they gleamed in the light, flashing by like a lucid nightmare as G’Kar was led through the silent hall, the chains on his bare feet dragging against cold tile.
The depicted landscapes were alien; monumental twisting mountains and turbulent oceans the preferred settings. The noblemen’s vanquished enemies were underfoot in the darknesses, if seen at all. G’Kar looked, but he could not identify a Narn among the faces of twisted surreality that represented the conquered.

Summary
An AU in which Stephen resigns from Earthforce after the Minbari War and is an active Narn sympathizer during the events of B5. Also an AU where people occasionally listen to G'Kar. Takes place roughly parallel to the events of S2-S5, with dips in and out of canon. Alternating POV + a long project in developing interiority for both characters.
A lot of Atlassian world-shouldering burdens and the resulting grief, Narn worldbuilding, talking and mutual caretaking. (They also kiss eventually)

Summary
On a hopeful night, G’Kar can imagine that Stephen will live forever; that this heart beside him will beat until the end of time, propelling its tireless bearer onward ever out of the grasp of a conclusion.

Summary
Kim lifts his free arm a few inches, letting the gown fall in a big rectangular shape around his narrow frame. “I look like a child.”
He does, a little bit, until one looks at his face, set in a well-worn scowl.
“No, you look like you just had fucking surgery this morning. It’s just me and Harry. No need to put on airs. We can do dress-up tomorrow.”
Kim sighs, twining his arm around Jean’s and leaning into him. His other hand plucks idly at the drape of fabric around his stomach. “Fine.” He rests his head on Jean’s shoulder, warm and heavy.

Summary
You pin his hands over his head, and breath escapes his lungs in a heavy, happy sigh. He’s had a couple drinks, not yet drunk, and he looks up with you with the terrifying lucidity of uninhibited desire. You straddle him and chase the taste of gin and cigarette smoke between his lips so you don’t have to see it.

Summary
Jean finds himself already looking forward to morning, even though mornings with Kim Kitsuragi usually start at the crack of dawn. There will be coffee, and stale pastries that Kim buys in indiscriminate bulk – the surest way to see that he’s all ‘Vacholiere, and none Suresne – and a little bickering over the crossword, while Kim’s still sleepy and disarmed. Later in the day, any attempts to doubt his intellect are much less generously received.
Jean won’t be around to see it, though. Because like every other day they share, before he is asked, Jean will excuse himself mid-morning, even when every atom in his body is telling him to get on his knees and beg to stay a little longer. And Kim will watch him go, with a little nod of understanding.

Summary
SHIVERS: It’s a Revachol thing.
RHETORIC: These days, sacres are only common among people who were young, before the commune, or the particularly irreverent type, searching for something more essentially profane than the mundane expressions of sex and bodily fluids.
ESPRIT DE CORPS: Lt. Kitsuragi is not that type - at least, nobody would think so, on first, second, or tenth glance. He has frozen exactly in place, staring at the shattered mug and spill of coffee, realizing every one of his new coworkers in the vicinity has just heard him off-handedly blaspheme like a pre-Revolutionary dockhand.

Summary
“Alright, detective,” Kim says, as you pull up to a stop, with the voice of a man who has been waiting for an interruption. “What is it now?”
You blink, realizing your eyes have gone a little dry. It’s not a rare occurrence. “Your jacket is orange,” you say, looking away from the sleeve back up to his face. Eyes on the road.
“My jacket is orange,” he confirms.
You go quiet again, and Kim doesn’t react to this except with a split-second glance over at you, paired with the slightest twinge of amusement at the corner of his mouth. He knows you’re chasing a hunch, turning a thought over and over in your mind until its edges wear smooth. He thinks this is probably one of the frivolous ones, and he’s probably right.

There's something about Kim's jacket.

Summary
Stephen’s fingertips worked deftly between the skin and the fruit, without breaking either. G’Kar watched as he coaxed the peel away, the fruit sitting comfortably in the concavity of one hand while the other pinched and sheared efficiently. It was meticulous work, but Stephen did not so much as glance up, his attention focused on the datapad as he cleft the fruit from its skin in two tidy pieces, which he dropped into his lap.
It was lewd, really.
