Hange turned to Levi now, not hiding the shake in her voice.
“But if you woke up and said, ‘Let’s go’—I’d follow. I would. No speech. No questions. Just... yes.”
She looked down. Her breath hitched. Her eyes stung, but she didn’t cry. Not this time.
“I think about it too much,” she whispered. “Not the fighting. Not the dying. Just… being. With you. Somewhere that’s not here.”
