"So you…" her father starts and Anne finds herself perking up just slightly. He still looks like he's been asked to swallow a particularly large rock. One hand lifts to gesture lazily before falling back to his side, defeated. "this… frog… world…"
"Amphibia." Marcy supplies helpfully. She's put on her glasses so the lenses fog as she takes another sip from her tea.
"...right…" the word sounds strangled, "This… Amphiba-land… you… you've been there this whole time…?"

Summary
Nightmares are a normal occurrence. Such to the point that Marcy keeps a detailed list of the most regularly occurring ones for each of them so they know how to process and what they need after each of them:
The best response to Anne's is to hide all sharp weapons for the next hour and cuddle like her life depends on it. Sasha’s also mean to hide sharp weapons and stay in the same room, but not to touch her. Bad things happened if no one was watching her after one of those. Marcy’s usual cocktail of horrors required a hand to hold, whether that be Anne’s or Sasha’s, and a simple repetitive task like signing paperwork.
This one though, this one fell firmly into the other category.

Summary
This was too far, way, way too far. Sasha felt like she was going to be sick, there was no way this had happened, right? No way she’d become so invested in this stupid little game of hers and Anne’s that she’d actually… actually…
Anne’s body shook- no, twitched- violently. A sob pulling at her ribcage before cutting off in a pained wheeze. Sasha could only stare at the blood pooling beneath her feet.
She took a step forward, hand raised tentatively.
“A-Anne…. I-I-”
