    Izuku learned at a very young age that love is conditional. Love is a reward for following the rules, love is reserved for those who are worthy of it, for those who are loveable.
    Izuku was not loveable, well at least not according to anyone he'd ever met.
    All he ever wanted to do was help people, to be someone worthy of loving but at 12 years old he's left with nothing and no one. Living on the streets he has to make his own way in life and maybe help some of the people in this community he's found himself in.
    Follow his journey as Izuku skirts the line of the law saving people and maybe even finding someone who thinks he's worth loving.

    But Izuku is already shaking his head. His head spins, and he regrets the movement, but not his answer.

    “You,” he croaks out.

    The room goes quiet.

    “I want to stay with you.”

    Or, the Aizawa-adopts-Izuku fic where Inko is still loved, All Might is trying his best, Izuku has One For All, and the mortifying ordeal of becoming a family is slow, complicated, painful, but ultimately worth it.

    Izuku is fourteen again.

    That means he needs to plan. He needs to find a way to fix the mistakes of the future and stop his friends from dying. He refuses to fail this time.

    He'll be the Hero he couldn't be.

     

    Or, Midoriya Izuku was Quirkless, was gifted a Quirk from All Might, went to Yuuei, fought in a War, lived through the After and was supposed to die. Only he finds himself back in the past with a skewed moral code, PTSD, and an extreme desire to stop his friends from dying brutal deaths. He is going to change the future, make some friends, maybe find a boyfriend, give some Villains a reason to be better and stop some Heroes. For better or for worse.
