   Summary

“Make a contract with me, Rex Lapis. Today, we fight. If I win, you’ll be keeping me by your side. If I lose... then I’ll give it up. Regardless of what happens, you still win something.”
“I accept. But in one condition.”
   “And what would that be?”
“It cannot be a fight to the death.”

   ---

After Liyue failed their test, Zhongli is set to return to being the Lord of Geo, Rex Lapis. Powerful, yet distant and unreachable. One (1) Fatui Harbinger doesn't take it well.

[Title inspired from the Honkai Impact 3rd chapter, Thunders Over Nagazora. From this, Honkai players already know what's up, I think.]

Please read the prequel, otherwise you won't understand this fic.
