Summary
It was that warm sun that played through the leaves of trees and grapevines now, sparkling on stone walls and reflecting in Diluc's fiery hair. Kaeya trailed behind him up the path like a shadow, baffled by his enthusiasm and yet, somehow, enchanted by it. His steps picked up a little without his notice, and he stumbled once, just slightly, before giving in to it and taking off running after Diluc. He was too young, then, to fear the roots of affection sprouting in his heart.

Summary
Mydei caught wind of it again when those men on horseback arrived at the church’s front gate, dressed in holy garbs, but not quite. They told the priests and nuns the same, warning them to stay within their grounds; not to stray from them, not to let any strangers in—the devil had a silver tongue and was well-versed in deceit.
When they galloped away, he had asked Reverend Mother Aglaea about their purpose of visit. She only said: ‘they purge evil’.

Summary
Hugo was always one to plan out every little detail of every single plan. Heists could not be successful if left solely to chance and there were always far too many obstacles in run in without a plan at all.
This time was no different. He had made a plan and he had followed it. Yes, maybe he had left far too much up to chance. Maybe it would have been better to let someone know the full extent of his plan. Maybe it would have gone better if he had trusted those around him. But it was too late.
He had needed them to believe he was a villain and he had succeeded with that. He just never expected things to go so wrong after his 'final' show.

Summary
It is said that stars shine the brightest before they die. Then perhaps the sun, the brightest and most dazzling of stars of them all, would surely shine most brilliantly before going out?
But what is the sun to people who traverse the universe? What is the moon or even the stars? Once mysteries turn into the mundane to be studied and pried apart – only vestiges of a fading sense of wonder left to be found.
And perhaps, that is the fate of everything in our universe.Bookmarked by incirrata (fairysheep)

Summary
“You’re staring,” Neuvillette observes, glancing over his shoulder.
Wriothesley leans on the counter and pulls his thumb across his lower lip, trying and failing to keep from grinning. “Can’t help it,” he says. “Have you seen yourself?”
“Numerous times throughout the day.” Neuvillette stirs the aromatics in the saucepan. “I am aware many find my form pleasing, but I do not believe I am visually remarkable in any way.”
“That,” Wriothesley says, coming up behind Neuvillette and gently setting his hands on the other man’s hips, “is idiocy, and you know it.”
Wriothesley teaches Neuvillette how to take a compliment.
