Summary
“I suppose i am boring.” Medkit reciprocates Subspace's displeasure, an amused hum leaving him. Then, he pauses, thinking carefully. “Not movies, that’s for sure.”
Subspace blinks at him. Expecting something else, and Medkit sighs. Giving it in. “Aren’t those crowded? Don’t like it.”
“Do you like anything?” He complains sourly. Does he? Medkit wasn’t sure.
“We just… Don’t have to do everything together.”

Summary
“You’re the most lucky, lucky, lucky demon that has ever set foot here.” Too confident, far too confident, shiny eyes and unquiet habits, foot tapping as he eagerly rubbed his absolute superiority on Medkit’s face. Disgusting. Nasty. “Well, Meds! From now on, you stay with me.”
Medkit stared. Just stared. Giving Subspace a funny look, exasperated breath leaving his lips as his eyes darted somewhere else— Anywhere but the loud thing in front of him, smiling with obvious smugness. Surely, there could be another Medkit here. Maybe he confused his roommate.
Nothing goes Medkit’s way, so he did stay with him. By the end of the day, he had a new friend. By the end of the year, he was a parasite.

Summary
Medkit gets a call from a mysterious Inphernal late at night. Whoever they are, they’re horribly ominous, probably a thief, and they have enough spite to talk endlessly about the church, but some of their ramblings seem to make sense… Well, maybe that’s just the drowsiness talking.

Summary
Despite this, there are cracks at times—invisible to the naked eye. A sharper edge to his usually detached voice, sometimes laced with dry sarcasm. A slight narrowing of his eye. An eyebrow raised. Such signs of annoyance and irritation are carefully noted and catalogued in Subspace’s mind—who, after years of feeding off Medkit’s sour mood, is too well-versed in. He can detect Medkit’s frustration like second nature.
But being soft, guard down—even just scarcely—especially with and around Subspace, never fits Medkit. Especially now.
