Summary
Loki falls into a pit of self-loathing, escapism, and alcoholism after losing his political career shortly after Thor abdicates the throne of Asgard to Valkyrie. One night, during a drunken stupor, he accidentally marries Fandral. He thinks it will be an easy divorce, something to forget and laugh about years later, but it is not. Everything spirals and Loki is left to deal with what his life has become.
Set in an au, post Ragnarok, Infinity war never happened, and New Asgard has been settled for years on Midgard now.Tagged Rape/Noncon, but there is no explicit noncon, just dubious consent because Fandral lies and tells Loki he pulled out when he didn't.
