Flandre has everything she could ever want. Eternal youth, limitless power, a mansion-ful of servants...who needs freedom? Summary
Hua watched her with a wary eye. Slowly, and with a voice coated in twisting grapevines, she asked, “If… you’re going to the store tonight, can you buy a different flavor of tea?”
Mei looked over at her in slight confusion while she rinsed the mug. She turned off the sink to garner a good look at her.
“I thought you like floral tea?” Mei asked her, disbelieving.
Hua grimaced and rubbed a few fingers on her sore throat. “I do,” she said. “I assume it’s the sickness, but the floral taste it’s— it’s a little strong for me now.”
—
Or, Fu Hua had built a garden for her love, though she doubted Kiana and Mei would ever step foot in it.
