Summary
The second Battle at Gronder Field is only days away, and the previous leader of the Blue Lion House needs a way to relieve his agitation. However, this familiar scenario reminds Dimitri of the feelings he buried, and causes Byleth to reminisce of the man Dimitri once was.

Summary
There had been a reason why Dimitri had been so insistent on getting to Enbarr as soon as possible. Despite the logistical difficulty of mobilizing the Kingdom army during midwinter, the springtime rut season was something that nobody wanted to deal with. Dimitri was already a moody, difficult man. Even back when he was a placid, seemingly even-tempered young man, ruts had made him erratic and wild. The incident that happened during the Battle of the Eagle and Lion had been proof of that.
Alas, they ended up marching for Gronder Field in the Great Tree Moon. But now that most of the alphas and omegas had gone through their springtime mating season, there should be nothing to worry about.
