In a world where Eric Kripke declined to exist, two very handsome men found themselves struggling to find work in Hollywood; that's not to suggest that without Kripke's unhinged brain Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were incapable of it but for the sake of this festive story, they're terrible at it. Jensen is burnt out, Jared is selling his 'wares' to perverts and one summer in BC filming a crappy holiday movie was as good as it was going to get for them but then, something that is always true, J2 need to be made to kiss like Ken dolls and setting them up to fail is sometimes the only way to do it.

Summary
December – 1985. It was almost Christmas and the festive season in New York City was in full swing. Jensen Ackles was working his job as a bellboy at the most prestigious address in NYC; 740 Park Avenue. It had never been his dream to bow and scrape and beg for tips but it had been his dream to one day take all that money for himself and someday find the perfect home in the wilderness; a little cabin by a lake, surrounded by natural beauty. When Mrs. Koch, one of 740’s most notorious residents returns to NYC for the holidays, Jensen once again suffers at her papery, wandering hands but Mrs. Koch, behind her obscene wealth and disregard for anyone below her had been harboring a secret – a stunning, devil-may-care grandson who was breaking the mold of what it meant to be generationally rich.

Summary
Jared Padalecki is a freewheeling homosexual just enjoying his life and his position as a teacher. His students looove him, and he enjoys teaching them history and English. He also enjoys nights at drag queen shows and dating other men. Jensen is an extremely conservative divorced gentleman of discerning tastes and specific beliefs. One of these beliefs is that the woke agenda is ruining schools and he doesn't want his daughter exposed to such nonsense. So when he sees Jared at a drag show his aunt dragged him to, all he can think about, aside from Jared's abs, his height, the dimple when he smiles...is that he needs to get Jared fired forthwith.

Summary
This is a pinch-hit Christmas gift fic for AomaSade. They had a brilliant prompt for archaeologist Jared and I hope that this does it justice. Sorry that this was delayed, and thank you so much for being part of the exchange!
Jared is finally the head of a dig, and his jealous and petty ex is his second in command. Investigating catacombs in a remote village in Finland brings Jared face to face with something ancient, something awe-inspiring, and something infinitely dangerous. Jared helps name him Jensen, and he becomes a bigger problem than the ex could ever hope to be.
