Summary
“Perhaps I’m being a little too vague.”
Lucifer snaps him out of his thoughts by fully invading his space. He’s placed his glass down, pulled himself up onto his hands and knees, and now he’s all but crawling into Alastor’s lap. He places a finger on Alastor’s chest, touch searing even through his suit jacket.

Summary
Names are a funny thing.
Especially when you're intent on avoiding saying them out loud.
Maybe that's an indication of some...other interests.
Or- Alastor and Lucifer get drunk, Alastor challenges him on that 'Show you sloppy' threat, and Lucifer follows through until something makes him crumble along with the bellhop.

Lucifer had always found chess to be dreadfully boring.
Until Alastor beat him.
And Lucifer wasn’t the sin of Pride for nothing.
So, it was one speedy game in between their hotel duties. Then, a couple of games before lunch. Then, hours after dinner were devoted to round after round of chess. A glass or two of whiskey raised the stakes. And now they were here.
