Seonghwa was a good intelligence agent. He could pick, coax, and pluck gain any piece of information he needed.
Provided Kim fucking Hongjoong didn’t choose to fuck him over.
Hongjoong was effective in getting out whatever intel he needed from his partners. And he had no problem going through as many partners as it took.
Though operating on the same side of the law, the two can’t seem to help but clash in a violent show of anger and seduction.
Circumstances cut that feud short, though, as matters more important than petty grudges arise and force the two into territory neither was prepared to handle.When you stab someone in the back.... be careful not to leave the knife in. They may now find it more useful than you.

one of the MOST beautifully written fics ive ever seen, my eyes are opened to a new definition of love entirely, the themes of meaning, of how it feels to make love with someone that actually matters, the importance of communication.... just the way emotion is written so you can completely be in the characters pov...... this author HAS to be writing from experience, and thats how you know its good -

i was burnt astronomically slowly, but the theme of hongjoong only appearing at night to sleep w seonghwa, similar to how stars only appear at night, which is how seonghwa views hongjoong, is beautiful. to think hes been stargazing him for so long, but truly stars are always in the sky even during the day, all they had to do was finally acknowledge it, AHHHHH love it

Summary

this is like. actually good. a good plot with good symbolism and questions of morality while being a painfully romantic fic at the same time. and no smut, so the love is extra profound.
