Summary
After months of longing glances, quickening breaths and breaking hearts, Kate and Anthony are finally to be married.
The couple has much to prepare for; first they must break the news of their engagement and then the wedding craze starts: dress fitting, cake tasting and flower arranging, much to keep the soon-to-be-wed couple busy. Lots of preparation for the two lovebirds who have already waited so long to be able to hold each other in their arms. However will they wait patiently to say "I do?"
Set right at the end of season 2 of Bridgerton, this story is for all of us who felt frustrated not to get a chance to see more of Kate and Anthony living happily ever after, on their way to their wedding, and after. Summary
Benedict Bridgerton asks Kate Sheffield to be his girlfriend for two weeks to:
1) get his mother off his back for a while
2) keep his family satisfied until he tells them that he's gayKate agrees, not expecting his brother Anthony to be the guy who tried to date her sister Edwina two years ago; the guy she spent weeks arguing with, might or might not have found attractive, and whose presence in Aubrey Hall might be the biggest challenge in maintaining their little ruse.
(Apart from the fact, of course, that Benedict and Kate are the Worst Actors They Know).
