Summary
When the Fatui assigned you to gather intelligence on the Knights of Favonius, you expected it to be easy.
And it was. You were great at your job—your competence allowing you to gather information on almost all the knights.
Except you didn’t expect the vice-captain of the Fifth Company to be such a pain. He was impossible to track and impossible to predict, so when you finally got a good lead, you followed it. Right into Dragonspine, where a single mistake lands you at knifepoint beneath the very man you were ordered to observe.
The interrogation should’ve ended with your death, except it didn’t.
Instead, Lohen offers you a job.
As it turns out, he’s far more interested in the secrets you’ve collected on Mondstadt’s knights than anything the Fatui might be hiding. Forced into an uneasy arrangement with a man who always seems to know more than he should, you quickly learn that surviving Lohen is far more difficult than spying on him ever was.
But the worst part?
You just can’t seem to leave.
