Summary
Kamakiri Togaru had just wanted to train alone for the UA Sports Festival when his path crossed with Midoriya Izuku, a student from 1-E who wanted to enter the hero course. Finding someone who was training with a knife- albeit a bit clumsily- was enough to pique Togaru's interest.
As sparring partners, they trained together daily. As friends, they shared the reasons they want to become heroes.
Growing closer to another person meant being vulnerable, open to attack. Togaru was new to this kind of thing, all this emotions and friendship bullshit, but he would find his relationship with Midoriya was worth it.
