“Dr. Gordon,” Adam whispers, a lick of a smile on his face; and, with awe-inspiring survival instincts, leans his body into the almost comforting touch. Miraculously, evilly, the doctor smiles back.
“No. You call me Lawrence." With that, a steady knee presses between Adam’s legs, and he lets out a sound he hadn’t known he was capable of, something reedy and wet. He squirms, but Lawrence (Lawrence, Lawrence, Lawrence…) refuses his movement, keeping him slotted between the concrete and his inescapable frame like a bug in a trap. “This is why you’re here, isn’t it?”
