Han Jisung lives with a ghost.
He knows he’s there, can sense his presence in the empty takeout containers left by the sink, the extra pairs of shoes in the entryway, and the smell of his cologne that sticks around the apartment and never seems to go away. Summary
Having to spend months at the Lee family house has been making Jisung lose sleep, even if he refuses to admit it to either Chan or Changbin. He suspects they know, anyway. They did sit down for hours upon hours trying to think of every single possible change to the plan they might need, back-ups and damage control strategies and a thousand worst-case-scenarios; from getting found out to being liked so much he’s asked for more and more. They spent months preparing because they knew how Jisung liked to be ready for every possible turn of events, even if that was nothing but the illusion of control.
The one thing that seemed certain, though, was that the wedding would surely take place. Rich people don’t like losing face, Chan had said, if there’s a rumor about a wedding, then there will be a wedding.
