Summary
Oscar Piastri is struggling through the Formula 1 off‑season because he can’t stop thinking about his teammate, Lando Norris. He spends hours obsessing over Lando’s Instagram and tries, and fails to get him out of his head. Their friendship has shifted since the 2025 season, and Oscar’s crush has grown into something intense.
One night, Lando unexpectedly shows up at Oscar’s door with a bottle of wine. They talk very deeply and touch a little, and Oscar becomes increasingly flustered by every small thing. Lando notices Oscar's pain and Oscar impulsively invites him to dinner, and Lando accepts—then slyly suggests they go back to his place afterward, which sends Oscar into a full internal meltdown.
After Lando leaves, Oscar panics and calls his sister Edie, oversharing every detail of the interaction—including how physically affected he was. Edie tries to keep him grounded, but Oscar spirals again when Lando texts him.
Oscar ends the call and freaks out alone, realizing he has five days to prepare for a dinner that feels dangerously close to a date—and he’s terrified of embarrassing himself or letting his feelings ruin their 'professional' relationship.
