Summary
Will takes in a deep breath but it does nothing to calm him. He feels like every nerve is firing at once, his body buzzing with nervous energy. “You-you know I love you,” He begins awkwardly, worrying his lower lip.
Mike sighs. “I love you too Will, you’re like the brother I never had,” Will tamps down on the urge to laugh bitterly at the second part of the sentence, at the main difference between their love for each other. There’s nothing brotherly about what Will feels for Mike.
“Now quit stalling and tell me what’s bothering you.” Mike huffs out a small laugh, bumping his shoulder with Will’s. “I can take it, I promise.” He says lightly.
Will turns to face him then, looking him dead in the eye. “No, I love you.”
