Summary
All Henry wanted out of this night was an uncomplicated one-night stand, something to sate his bi-curiosity and help him to move on from this rut he had found himself in these past eight months.
What he didn’t expect was for the handsome stranger he met in Prague and shared his bed with for a night to show up at his new job.
And for him to turn out to be the literal worst

Summary
“You don’t say please. You don’t.”
“Please,” he says again, and drags out each letter, and Henry should oblige, but his own body is pliant in Hans’s presence, like water, or clay.
Strange, flipped, subverted, this hesitation. Outside of this room, Henry has no hesitation when it comes to Hans. Out there in the world, his golden pourpoint covers the marks Henry leaves on him, hiding these blemishes against his unquestionable authority. Inside, naked, nowhere to hide. Uneasy equals. And one always trying to capitulate to the other.

Summary
Henry didn’t plan to raise a son alone. But six years in, he’s gotten good at surviving—early mornings, late shifts, scraped budgets and stegosaurus pajamas. His world is tight, small, safe. Exhausting.
When money runs short, the last thing he wants is a stranger in the apartment. But the spare room needs renting, and Hans—the too-charming, too-careful grad student who answers the ad—fits far too easily into the cracks of their life.
Sam likes him. That’s the problem.
Because Henry doesn’t trust easily. Not with his home. Not with his heart. And definitely not with the one person who still thinks the world is good.
