There is an ancient tradition in this world.
Once they turn of age, the people of this land undergo a journey at least once in their life. Some people go to pursue unknown treasure and lost secrets, to sift through the debris of ancient civilizations; others go to find someone they once knew. A few go for the sake of adventure itself, continuing on and on until they’ve seen every horizon and every sunset on the continent, to the point where their body can no longer take it.
And then there are Ryuujin.
Descendants of the four ancient dragons that built this world and birthed its seasons, Ryuujin are their hidden protectors.
Fauna is a Ryuujin. She has recorded many, many stories for many, many years.
This is the start of another one.
And it begins with a hunter and a scholar traveling to the end of the known world.
