Summary
“You love him?"
Yeonjun lets out a laugh, dry and exhausted. “Not yet."
“Will you?”
He considers it for a second. Some of his fingertips touch the hair on the back of Soobin’s neck. Absentmindedly. “Maybe."
Soobin has thought about it before, telling him about what he feels. In conversations like this, sometimes he wants to blurt it out: I think I can treat you right. I think I can make it work, the both of us. I think I can close off your wounds with my bare hands, so you can forget everything that has ever hurt you.
Soobin has been in love with Yeonjun for a really long time. Yeonjun doesn’t reciprocate.

Summary
They talk about loss. Yeonjun speaks of it like ancient myth; a little unbelieving, fondness catching on calamity. It changes you, doesn't it, Yeonjun says, squinting as the waves break and collapse on their ankles. He looks both anchored and lost here, drowned in half. When people leave, you become all it is.

Summary
The torrential downpour pounds relentlessly against the worn pavement, as if the heavens - if there is one, unleashes their wrath upon the deserted city. The dark alleys are now nothing more than murky rivers, flowing with the incessant rainfall.
“You know what you have to do,” Yeonjun says from somewhere behind him and Soobin sighs heavily, shakily.
Does he really?
His trembling fingers poise on the trigger, the weight of the decision now unbearable. He can’t do this, it’s not who he is. The distorted shape of the man disintegrates into mere shadows and half truths, as the line between good and evil blur into an indistinguishable gray. Time slows, stretching each second to an agonizing eternity.
And without a second thought, Soobin pulls the trigger.

Summary
To Yeonjun, this would be another one of those nights. Soobin is just another body, another nameless pleasure. If Soobin was cruel to himself, he would let himself be that for Yeonjun. One single night to be all that he wants.
To Soobin, this would change his life forever.
