Summary
A century after the trials, Ryu Doha receives an unexpected visit—and soon finds himself living in the palace as Emperor Jeok-yeon's new attendant. Between opposition from other counselors, secrets clinging tightly to the shadows, and an emperor whose forehead is just the right height to kiss, he may be in for more than he bargained for... But he wouldn't have it any other way.
This fic assumes familiarity with the Mystic Prince canon (although I reserve the right to be canon-noncompliant, especially in light of upcoming plot developments in the canon). There will be loose references to chapters 76+, but a basic understanding will do just fine!
