Summary
After college, Regulus starts working as a book editor in London, going back to his home country after spending seven years living in France with his uncle.
He misses London, he wants to see more of his brother and reconnect with him. He wants to leave his past in France and start a new life. But when he arrives, he quickly remembers about James Potter,— six years older than him, the father of a seven-year-old and his brother's best friend. Also, Regulus' childhood crush.
Now that Regulus is all grown up, he decides he wants a taste of James.

Summary
When Sirius decides they should run, Regulus almost refuses. He’s learned to distrust anything that sounds like freedom when it comes from his brother. But staying means suffocating, and leaving—however reckless—means movement. So he climbs into the back of a battered pickup with a group of near-strangers, carrying half-forged passports, uneven cash, and more anger than sense.
What follows is not escape so much as collision.
Across Europe, they carve out something fleeting and ferocious: cheap motels in Barcelona, open fields under Tuscan stars, restless, fractured nights in Athens. They fight, love, splinter, and remake themselves in the spaces between highways and gas stations, between exile and belonging. Each of them running from something—family, expectation, failure, themselves—and chasing something they can’t quite name.
For Regulus, the journey becomes a slow unravelling of everything he thought he understood—about Sirius, about loyalty, about who he is when no one is watching. But the brighter they burn, the closer they edge to collapse.
Because nothing this volatile was ever meant to last.
And like all stars, they are destined to either burn out—or explode.
