Summary
The Winchesters have never been much for holidays, and Castiel hasn’t been around for any of their makeshift versions of Christmas. It’s a thought that leaves a lump in Dean’s throat, and he pushes it down hard, reminding himself he has time to make this right. Has time to show Castiel how serious he is about making it right, and can only hope Castiel will believe him.
“I thought we agreed to no gifts this year.”
“Yeah well. This is different. And it doesn’t have to–I mean, it’s just…I thought–-if you don’t want-–”
“Dean.” Castiel looks up at him, amused. “Will you stop that and tell me what I’m rejecting exactly?”

When Dean glances up again, it’s to find Castiel crouching down, reaching for something underneath a bench. He pulls out a--Dean squints--bralette, thin and black and lacy.
“I’m guessing that don’t go in the coffer?”
Castiel stands again, slipping the garment into his pocket. “The witnesses were lying.” He looks around the dark room, and then, in a move that nearly has Dean’s eyes bugging out of their head, shrugs off his coat. “We need to have sex.”
