“I’m Kirishima, by the way. Sorry I didn’t mention my name before, what with all the making sure you weren’t dead and stuff.”
Bakugou looks over at him and blinks.
“Bakugou.”
Kirishima nods and smiles, turning the key in the ignition.
“Cool. Do you live around here?”
The heating comes on in the car and Bakugou can feel his toes warming up instantly, goosebumps mellowing. He shakes his head and tugs the blanket tighter around himself.
“Around.” He replies.
Kirishima looks confused, and rightly so, but he doesn’t push Bakugou to elaborate.
“Well, I don't live too far from here and I kinda really wanna take a look at your leg if you won’t let me take you to a hospital. I promise I’m not a murderer.”
There’s a crooked smile on Kirishima’s face and Bakugou thinks back to just under two minutes ago when his eyes looked warm in the cold.
He should say no.
“Fine.” He says.
Kirishima nods and grins, and Jesus, that's even brighter than his car's damn headlights.
