Summary
I press my back against the wall, draw my knees up to my chest and bury my fists tightly in my hair. With gasping sobs, I sit there, cold down to the very core of my being. That's how they find me in the late morning, still sitting in the same position hours later. Eyes trained on the middle of my floor, trembling with dried tear tracks on my face. I barely even noticed them unlock my door and step in, their voices hardly registering in my mind. I flinched when their hands gripped my shoulders and gently tugged me forwards. I still couldn’t process what they were saying but I let them guide me out of the room.

Summary
Whatever he had predicted might happen, Jon wasn't expecting to survive upon demolishing the Panopticon. He certainly wasn't expecting to be rescued.
Instead, he wakes up in an alternative universe where he's never been the Archivist, and Martin Blackwood doesn't exist.
Martin Blackwood wakes up somewhere else entirely.

Summary
Five times Martin knit something for Jon and one time Jon knit something for Martin.
1. Scarf- During a quiet moment at the archive, Jon receives an unexpected gift.
2. Fingerless Gloves- It's holiday time down in the archives, and what's a holiday without presents?
3. Socks- Jon fled the Institute without his scarf or his fingerless gloves, but thankfully he still has the socks on his feet.
4. Blanket- Jon walks out of the hospital after a six month coma with a clean bill of health, new clothes, and a blue knitted blanket.
5. Sweater- The world as they know it may have ended, but that hasn't stopped Martin from knitting.
6. Scarf (Reprise)- It's Christmas Eve morning and Martin has given Jon an early Christmas present. It's only fair that Martin gets to open one as well.

Summary
Sometimes concepts are too big, too complicated, and too ineffable to properly describe or understand. Sometimes it is easier to imagine things as metaphors. And metaphorically speaking, reality could be viewed as an obscure and complex version of poker played in a pitch-black room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a Dealer who won’t tell you the rules and who smiles all the time.
Of course, reality can also be viewed as two powerful angels going down to Earth with the goal of wiping the "traitor" out of existence the old-fashioned way. If more precise methods don't work, then simply smite away at the target until there's nothing left.

Summary
As soon as Aubrey Thyme, psychotherapist, had opened her office door and seen her new client, Anthony J. Crowley, sitting in her waiting area, she was observing and assessing him. At first glance, she paid attention to the following:
--His clothing was expensive and stylish;
--He wore very strange but noticeable cologne;
--His relationship to the seat he occupied could only, very loosely, be described as “sitting;”
--He looked angry;
--He was wearing sunglasses.What Aubrey Thyme, a professional, thought, upon first seeing her new client was: you’re going to be a fun one, aren’t you?

Summary
Martin had always been angry. Always at something. Often himself. It was a part of him he kept carefully tucked away, smothered, buried. He'd learned, quickly, to keep that ugly part of him away from prying eyes. He kept the heat under his skin under control, and, unlike his father, never let it touch anyone else.
No one told him how hard that would be, once everything he cared to pretend for was gone.
Or, how Martin and his loving monster boyfriend embrace the joys of arson and avatarhood
