The day that Harry Potter destroyed Tom Riddle's Diary was the day a voice appeared inside his head.
His life quickly changes after this; Ron and Harry are fighting, Harry has smuggled his pet dog Padfoot into Hogwarts, Harry has grown very close to Professor Lupin very quickly, and Harry is making plans on how to kill Voldemort.

Summary
The Deities have a funny way of apologizing, Harry decides. They don’t offer him a choice so much as they force one. Not as the Boy Who Lived, but as the grandson who never was.
Two years after the war, he’s tired, haunted by ghosts, estranged from friends, and uncertain what peace is supposed to feel like. When the Deities intervene, it’s not mercy that sends him back, but purpose.
