Summary
Miroku and Kagome work for an esoteric agency comprised exclusively of humans with spiritual abilities. They quietly monitor unusual activity suspected to be the work of malicious youkai. One day, the goshinboku tree at Higurashi shrine mysteriously deposits a half-demon from the Sengoku Era, followed by a demon slayer. When Kagome and Miroku become the official handlers for these "temporal anomalies," they must help their new charges adapt to the modern world.
What happens as each agent starts to develop feelings for their time-traveling companion? Why has the goshinboku brought them all together? And how might Naraku, a shadowy foe from the past, factor into things?

A sex thing. Inuyasha makes a face at the ceiling. God, why does Miroku say shit like that? “Yeah, well,” he grouses, grabbing at his cell phone so that he can look his friend in the eye. “Give me some fucking credit. I’m trying not to fall in love with her.”
Miroku looks, in that moment, far too smug. “And how’s that going for you?”
“Fuck you,” comes his automatic response, a knee-jerk reaction. Begrudgingly, unhappily, Inuyasha sighs his next admission. “Not great.”
Inuyasha has a life plan that is viciously, cheerfully and quickly dismantled the moment he becomes temporary roommates with one Kagome Higurashi. Unsurprisingly, this is all Miroku's fault.
