Stranded in the BattleTech universe after a botched hyperspace jump, aboard the Imperial flagship Daybreak Over Theed is Prince Aurelius, a genetically engineered demigod and one of the nine "Sons of Emperor Palpatine" of the Galactic Empire. His presence, and the fleet itself, soon bring change to the Periphery and the Inner Sphere at the barrel of a blaster.
